Choosing a Book TitleEven if you already have a title picked out, it will serve you well to do some research on the techniques used by professionals when choosing a name for a book. The name not only has to be descriptive, it also has to be eye-catching. You may have written a best-seller but if the name doesn't catch anyone's interest, no one will pick it up and read it. A good name conveys much to the potential reader. What is the book about? Who is the audience for the book? Is it fiction, non-fiction, or poetry? Does the title give any clues to anything about what's inside? What would make me pick up your book over someone else's? Make sure to look at your book title objectively when thinking about your answers to these questions.Resources for Naming Your Book
